“Hey y’all! My name is Kailey Butler and I am a freshman Food Science and Human Nutrition major from Blythewood, SC. Growing up just a few minutes down the road from Columbia, I was raised in gamecock territory and had always gone to their games growing up. As I neared the end of high school and had to make my college decision, staying home just didn’t feel right and Clemson had always seemed like home for me, even before I ever stepped foot on campus for a tour. The day my acceptance letter came in the mail this past December, I paid my deposit the same day and wrote “move in day” into my calendar! After being here for about a month, I continue to fall in love with the University everyday, especially when I see the sunset over campus every evening. Joining ADPi has been an absolute blessing and I have already made the best of friends with girls in my Alpha class. Besides becoming involved in sorority life, I was also chosen to represent my class as a member of Freshman Council and have also plugged in with FCA and a small group. I know there is so much in store for ADPi in the next four years and I can’t wait for all of the laughs, trips, friendships, and memories to be made with all of my new sisters!” - Kailey Butler, AC ‘20

Mary Galloway

Mary Galloway, AC ‘20

Mary Galloway, AC ‘20

“Hey you guys! I'm Mary Grace Galloway, I'm from Chapin, South Carolina, and I'm a Microbiology major. I'm either planning to attend medical school or cardiovascular perfusionist school in hopes of becoming a surgeon or a cardiovascular perfusionist. Growing up in a house with an entire room dedicated to the gamecocks, I knew that announcing my decision for college was going to be a tough one. My dad played football and baseball at Carolina, and my grandpa played football there too. Telling my family that I wanted to go to Clemson was not particularly something I was looking forward to, but I knew that Clemson was my new home when I got to experience the inclusive atmosphere with a strong sense of community. There's absolutely no place like it. I knew as soon as I visited, this place was home. So when I broke the news, we went back and forth until they realized that I truly did already love Clemson, and that I had made the right decision. The constant "boo Clemson" jokes still haven't stopped and probably never will, but I'm just happy that I'm where I belong. Although times have been different with COVID-19, I still have felt so welcome here and am so happy to not only be a part of the Clemson family, but also the Alpha Delta Pi family too! I love meeting new people and trying new things, and I've already developed so many friendships and have gotten to do so much on campus. I absolutely love long walks and being outdoors! I've met so many girls who I can watch Bachelor nights with and who will catch up on 90 Day Fiancè with me. I can't wait to continue these next 4 years in ADPi, and to meet even more of my best friends!” - Mary Galloway, AC ‘20

“Hey everyone! My name is Faryn Heatly and I’m from McDonough, GA, which is about 25 minutes south of downtown Atlanta. I plan to study Sports Communication with the goal of one day becoming a professional sports agent, representing athletes and helping them to achieve their goals and dreams, while I live out mine. I chose Clemson because I’ve grown up a Tiger, spending countless weekends in Death Valley. It has always been home to me. I believe that Clemson offers many opportunities that will equip me greatly for my future. Some of my favorite things include college football, spending time with my family and friends, listening to music, and tacos! It’s very exciting to officially be a Tiger, and I’m ready to experience everything Clemson has to offer. I’m so grateful to call both Clemson and ADPi home. I can’t wait to watch these next four years unfold! Go Tigers!” - Faryn Heatly, AC ‘20

“Hi!!! I’m Liddy, and I am a Psychology major from Greenville, South Carolina! Clemson has always felt like home to me and I’m so excited to finally be here! I chose Clemson because the atmosphere and school spirit is truly one of a kind. I’ve been a dancer my whole life and grew up with two sisters, so I was super excited to join a sorority and become a part of another lifelong sisterhood. Throughout high school, I had the opportunity to connect with students who have special needs through a peer tutoring program. I would love to become involved with the ClemsonLIFE program, and connect with some of those students here on campus! Although I have only been a part of Alpha Delta Pi for a short amount of time, I already feel at home and have met my new lifelong besties! I cannot wait to meet everyone and see what the next few years have in store for me!” - Liddy Madeline, AC ‘20

Clemson has seamlessly become my new home and I can’t imagine myself anywhere else! This year, I am involved with volunteering with the ClemsonLIFE program and Young Life. I’m excited to learn more about other clubs and organizations that Clemson has to offer and hopeful to become more involved with ADPi as a leader. Some things I enjoy doing are spending time with my friends and family, working out, dancing, going to the beach or lake, traveling and trying new things! I am extremely adventurous and am always up for trying new things and exploring new experiences. I am beyond blessed to be a part of the Clemson family and the chapter of ADPi. “Hey everyone! My name is Ashley Anderson, and I was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. That being said, I love spending my summers at the beach. I’m a freshman English major, and I could not be more excited to be a Tiger! Almost everyone on my dad’s side of the family went to Clemson, so my college choice was easy. When you grow up spending game days in Death Valley, it’s hard to imagine going to college anywhere else!  I’ve played soccer my whole life and have recently started loving workout classes like HIIT and kickboxing! Aside from fun workouts, I love reading, listening to music, and I’m a sucker for a good coffee date. On campus, I’m involved in CHAARG, the Her Campus Clemson literary magazine, and of course, ADPi! All of the sisters I’ve met so far have been so sweet and down to earth, and I can’t wait to meet so many more as the years go by! Go Tigers!” - Ashley Anderson, AC ‘20

"Hey y’all! My name is Meg Botts, and I’m a Biological Sciences major from the small town of Abbeville, SC. My dad is a football coach so I have grown up around football my entire life! I absolutely love the game and it only seemed fit to attend the University that has the #1 team in the nation! However, football is not the only reason why I fell in love with Clemson. I chose Clemson University because of the breathtaking campus, outstanding academics, and the opportunity to make lifelong friends. I am super excited to say that I am a part of the ADPi family, and I am so grateful to have so many amazing sisters! Some things that I enjoy are spending time with my friends and family, shopping, working out, traveling, going to the beach and lake, going to concerts, and listening to country music! I also love to dress cute and take lots of pictures! Sports have always been a part of my life and I would love to get involved in intramural sports here at Clemson. Some of my favorite things include almond milk lattes, water skiing, chocolate soft serve ice cream, Clemson football, and all my new ADPi sisters! “Hey everyone! I’m Leighanna Gambrell and I am from Spartanburg, South Carolina (about an hour from Clemson!) This year I am a freshman at Clemson, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Social Sciences. My ultimate goal after Clemson is to attend dental school to pursue my dream of becoming an Orthodontist. Growing up in South Carolina, Clemson has always felt like home to me. Both of my parents actually attended the University of South Carolina, but I broke the tradition and became a Tiger! I chose Clemson because I knew that the University as a whole would push me to become a better student, while also providing me with endless opportunities. This year at Clemson I am a part of CUSG, as I was selected as a member of the Greek Affairs Committee, and am also a member of the Pre-Dental club! I played volleyball all throughout high school and I love to travel. While I am beyond thankful for the memories from my high school years, I know that Clemson will create the best memories that will last a lifetime! I am so excited to be a part of the best sisterhood, ADPi, and have the opportunity to be surrounded by these girls for the next four years and beyond. “Hey y’all! My name is Baileigh Price and I am a sophomore soon to be Nursing major from North Augusta, SC. Growing up I was raised as a Gamecock, but when deciding what college to go to I fell in love with the small town, family feel of Clemson. It has always been a dream of mine to travel as much as I can, so with my nursing degree I hope to be a travel nurse and then either go into the NICU or graduate school to be a Nurse Practitioner. I have cheered my whole life and through that I have fallen in love with fitness. Anyone who knows me knows you can usually find me at the gym. I would love to one day become a trainer on campus and help others reach their goals and learn how to have fun while doing it. I am super excited about getting involved with Clemson Life this year because I have always had a passion for those with special needs and making sure that everyone feels equal despite their differences. I also plan to become a part of FCA and CUGA on campus. I love Jesus, Moes, amusement parks, the beach and lake, music (fun fact: I sing), and anything chocolate peanut butter. “Hi everyone!! My name is Camille Turk, and I’m a freshman from Saint Simons Island, Georgia (originally from Buckhead). I’m currently a Business Marketing major but I am hoping to switch to Health Sciences with a minor in marketing. Once I graduate from Clemson, I plan on attending PA school to become a Surgical Physician’s Assistant. Growing up, I always thought I would go to UGA for college since my whole family went there and has lived in Athens for generations; however, as cliche as it sounds, once I stepped foot on Clemson’s campus for the first time, I instantly fell in love with every aspect Clemson had to offer. Although I will always love the Dawgs, I’m proud to be able to call myself a Clemson Tiger! At Clemson, I plan on studying abroad in Italy the summer between my sophomore and junior year, and can’t wait to get involved with ADPi events. My hobbies include: traveling, spending time outdoors, college football, playing sports, the gym, and hanging out with friends on the beach!” - Camille Turk, AC ‘20

I chose to attend Clemson because just about everyone on my mom’s side of the family graduated from Clemson, so of course I didn’t want to break the tradition. I am a Psychology major and plan to attend MUSC after college to get my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy with a focus in Pediatrics. A fun fact about myself is that in 2018 I danced in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York! It was such an amazing experience and I got to enjoy it with my bestie, and now sister in ADPi, Mary Ellis! I love to hang out with friends and family, spend my days on the beach or in the boat, watch Clemson football and make long lasting memories doing spur of the moment things! I am so very happy to be a part of ADPi :)” - Carly Clegg, AC ‘20

I could not be happier to see all of your smiling faces on campus and can’t wait to meet all of my new sisters! ADPi has helped me so much with the transition and I am so thankful to have girls who lift me up and support me. This year I’m hoping to explore my faith and fitness, while getting involved with Clemson CHAARG and FCA. I’m also really looking forward to attending small group with my sisters! I’ve only been in Clemson for a little while now, but this past month has been filled with the things I love the most: meeting new friends, coffee dates, exploring local boutiques, and sunset take-out dinners on Bowman field. I am from Blacksburg, SC which is a small town in the upstate. I love the sense of home that both my town and Clemson give me, but I was so ready for the opportunities that Clemson is going to offer me. My dad went to USC, so I was raised as a Carolina fan my entire life… my parents took me home from the hospital in a Gamecock onesie (ugh so sad)! I played volleyball from seventh grade to senior year and I sang throughout school. I’m a Parks and Recreation major with an emphasis in recreational therapy, hoping to pursue Pediatric Physical Therapy. I am so excited to finally be living in Clemson where I can experience in person church at NewSpring, meet my ADPi girls and have a sleepover ever night with my roommate! “Hey y’all! My name is Gracie Stockman, and I graduated from Lugoff-Elgin High School. I grew up surrounded by family about 20 minutes outside of Lugoff, SC on a farm in a very small community called Tookiedoo. My brother is a year older than me and is also here at Clemson, so choosing to come here was an easy decision for me because I have always been very family oriented. In high school, I was involved with the Special Education program. Through this program, I developed a huge heart for those with disabilities, so I chose to be a Special Education major here at Clemson. As a Bridge student last year, I was so excited to finally be able to rush. Every time I talked to girls in ADPi during recruitment, I felt right at home, and nothing has changed since I joined the chapter. This past month has been nothing short of amazing! Every girl I have met has been so sweet and welcoming, and I definitely look forward to meeting more of my sisters this semester! I am also super excited to be back on Clemson’s campus to start volunteering with the Clemson Life Program again. That has definitely been one of the many highlights of my time here at Clemson! In my free time you can catch me with a Dunkin coffee in my hand, online shopping, or reading my devotion (I love anything Sadie Robertson!) I am an Early Childhood Education major and hope to coach cheerleading along with teaching once I graduate. I love kiddos and try to stay involved with children as much as I can. Coming from my town, everyone around me wanted me to go to UGA. However, throughout high school I realized God had bigger plans for me. I was introduced to the Clemson's Cheerleading Program through a lifelong coach of mine. I fell in love with the program and everyone involved. Cheerleading has been so important to me since I was little and I was beyond excited when I got the email saying that I would be able to continue my passion at Clemson. Outside of cheer, I am such a bookworm and love staying on top of my schoolwork and trying my best to perform well in the classroom. I have grown up being a part of the Clemson Family my entire life. My family lives for Clemson football and I have been attending almost every home game since I was 10 months old! I chose Clemson University not only because it is my second home, but because of the outstanding qualities it obtains in academics, athletics, clubs and organizations, and the students that make up the campus. Recently, I joined the ADPi family (best decision ever), and the past few weeks have been nothing short of amazing and it makes me fall in love with Clemson all over again. I haven’t even lived on campus yet or met any of your beautiful faces, but I have already been surrounded by God’s love and presence from our zoom calls and chats!! If that’s not a clue of why Clemson is the BEST school and ADPi is the BEST sorority, I don’t know what is. I am most excited to meet everyone and get to go on coffee dates and drive-in FCAs. I am praying that we can return to campus safely and that we can be together soon! Go ADPi!! BOOM BOOM” - Peyton Smith, AC ‘20

Hey PNMs! Why ADPi #10!

Anna Rhett’s Spotlight + Why ADPi ⟡

“Alpha Delta Pi has been the BIGGEST blessing I have experienced in college.”

Anna Rhett Allen, AC ‘18

Anna Rhett Allen, AC ‘18

Anna Rhett Allen - Alpha Class ‘18

“Hello PNMs my name is Anna Rhett Allen and I am a Junior Elementary Education major from Charleston, SC. I am so fortunate to serve as this year's Vice President of Marketing for Zeta Nu and I cannot believe that Recruitment starts this week!! I am truly so excited for all of you to go through the Recruitment process. Although it might look different than any other year, we cannot wait to meet you and are so excited to share with you what makes our chapter so special!

Why ADPi… this is something that I feel like I could go on for absolutely hours about because there are so many incredible things that I love about ADPi. Everytime I went into Alpha Delta Pi’s rounds during Recruitment, I could truly feel the love that every member had for each other. Not only was every member that I talked to very confident, outgoing, and engaged in each conversation, but also made me feel so comfortable and confident. I felt accepted for who I was, allowing me to be authentically myself and confident when talking to a sister of ADPi. Every member that I talked to made me feel so welcomed and were genuinely interested in what I had to say. Now fast forwarding to current time I know ADPi was the best decision ever because every member has been just as loving and supportive during all the changes to this year's Recruitment process.

Alpha Delta Pi has been the BIGGEST blessing I have experienced in college. It is a place where every girl pushes you to be the best version of yourself that you can be. Without the girls in Alpha Delta Pi and their constant encouragement, I would not have joined other organizations on campus as well as would not have been able to plan Recruitment. This year’s events haven’t gone as planned, but the members of Alpha Delta Pi are always encouraging me to keep up the hard work and remain passionate about my goals! If it was not for the incredible members of Alpha Delta Pi, I would not have been able to hold this position.

Not only have I found sisters who will encourage me for the rest of my life, but also sisters who are my ABSOLUTE best friends in ADPi. I know for a fact we will still be friends 20 years from now.

Whether it’s talking football with Mary Crosby, Bachelor nights on the hall with Chandler, taking time cam photos with Marywhit, closing down the dance floor with Elizabeth, eating constant sweets with Hannah, working out with Abby, or never going a day without talking (literally) with Georgia, these special moments remind me how incredibly thankful I am to have found true sisters in ADPi. These girls have truly made my time in Alpha Delta Pi something special, and I know these relationships will follow me throughout the rest of my life.

In Alpha Delta Pi you will find the girls who encourage you to strive to be the best version of yourself, as well as pick you up when you are down. You will find lifelong friends that make being apart for the summer SO incredibly hard. With all of this being said, I cannot imagine my college experience without Alpha Delta Pi. I am extremely sad to be halfway done with college and my time here with these girls on campus, but I know that these friendships will follow me outside of my four years spent at Clemson. I will forever be thankful for Alpha Delta Pi and the encouragement, sisterhood, leadership, and loyalty it has brought into my life.
I cannot wait to start Recruitment and to show all 1289 of you why Alpha Delta Pi is so great and truly unique in its own way!” - Anna Rhett Allen, AC ‘18
