Alpha Delta Pi was founded as the first secret society for women in 1851 at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. Clemson University's Zeta Nu chapter was founded in 1976. Our sorority is committed to high academic standards, social responsibility, sisterhood, values, and ethics.
To date, Alpha Delta Pi has initiated more than 235,000 women, many of whom are actively involved in one of over 145 collegiate chapters and 150 alumnae associations throughout the United States and Canada.
As sisters of Alpha Delta Pi, we value Leadership. Our members are immensely involved in other organizations across campus, including Clemson Undergraduate Student Government, Student Alumni Council, Blue Key Honor Society, Varsity Athletics, FCA, Omicron Delta Kappa, YoungLife, Clemson Tour Guide Association, Mortar Board, Order of Omega, Rally Cats, and many more. We create an environment that cultivates leaders and we strive to lead our campus to greatness.
We Live For Each Other. Alpha Delta Pi provides its members with lifetime friendships and an unexplainable sisterhood. The events we look forward to most each year are $5 Prom, Mallard Ball, Semi-Formal, Black Diamond Formal, and our two-day function, ADPisland.
Alpha Delta Pi loves the Ronald McDonald House. Alpha Delta Pi adopted Ronald McDonald House Charities as our international philanthropy in 1979. There are 309 Ronald McDonald Houses around the world with 44 mobile services. We are fortunate to have a Ronald McDonald House in nearby Greenville, South Carolina to serve.
We value high academic achievement. Our Alpha Delta Pi chapter consistently has one of the highest grade point averages on Clemson University's campus. We encourage scholarly achievements and create an environment for success in the classroom.
