Below are the stories of three of our senior sisters as they reflect on the growth, learning, and living of their past four years. Happy last week of class, sistas! It’s wild to see another year come and go, but it sure did not do so quietly. As we jet off to the joyous plans of tomorrow, let’s make sure not to forget the growth that led us to today. The baby steps that became bountiful bounds through unyielding perseverance, life-giving friendships, and molding experiences that carried us to this jumping-off point into the great unknown of the future. In a world of conformity and chaos, the act of being unapologetically yourself speaks volumes. They say the older you get, the wiser you get, but sometimes life can just be downright confusing. It’s so easy to get caught up in the fast-paced routine of our daily lives and overwhelmed by the pressures of perfection and planning for the future. But, if we consciously and continually take the time to stop and look around, we can learn to let the future worry about itself and really recognize the beauty and freedom of the present. Life is truly about the little things; things like sharing the stories of our sisters and spending the last few weeks of the semester in reflection of the place and people we’re lucky enough to call home.
