“When it came time for me to start applying to schools, I never had a doubt in my mind where I wanted to go. I wanted to follow in the steps of my grandpa and dad to become a third generation Tiger (and a third generation Clemson engineer)! When I toured, I loved how passionate everyone was about their school, and I knew that I wanted the opportunity to form my own Clemson experience. While I toured other schools, the atmosphere and my emotional connection with Clemson from day one could never be duplicated. I felt so confident in my choice to go to Clemson. It was the only school I applied to, which made getting my Tiger Town Bound letter that much sweeter. You could say "my blood runs orange," and I would not trade these moments and memories for the world.

Recruitment was definitely a fun experience for me because I loved learning about Greek life at Clemson; however, the highlight of my week was going into ADPi last in every round. While most are exhausted by the end of a long recruitment day, I always felt rejuvenated when I walked into ADPi because of the love and acceptance I received. Meeting my big in third round or talking to my sister in preference round will be special memories that I will always cherish. Meeting new friends in college was one of my biggest concerns; however, ADPi made meeting new people so easy.  After eavesdropping on a conversation in Chick-Fil-A and hearing someone talk about being a new member in ADPi, I met one of my best friends. It is unexpected friendships and enriching experiences that make joining a sorority so worth it. 

My family took a road trip to New Orleans for the National Championship game, and even though we did not win the memories made there with my family were so special. My favorite part of the trip was definitely the food (I am a BIG foodie!!). I tried chargrilled oysters for the first time which I loved and of course the beignets and coffee at Cafe Du Monde were a highlight of the trip. I am sure everyone saw lots of pictures of these powdered sugar covered treats from heaven! Going into the stadium to find that our seats were surrounded by LSU fans did not deter our excitement for the tigers and we cheered them on till the very end. We love our tigers and we'll CU in Miami!

One of my biggest goals for the next semester is to really put into action Emory's goal for the chapter last year which was: "Be Bold. Be Brave. Be Better." One thing I admire about so many ADPi girls is their motivation to be their best selves and their ability to encourage others to achieve this as well. This semester I want to be the best version of myself academically, spiritually, and in my relationships. This may require me to be bolder or braver than I usually am; however, it will lead me to be the achievement of my own goals and to encourage others. I am currently an Environmental Engineering major and hope to one day be installing or designing water filtration systems for countries in need. I cannot wait to see how God will use me through this career path and in my next three and a half years at Clemson.” - Claire Funk, AC ‘19

After being introduced to Zeta Nu by her sister, Cely found her forever home here in Alpha Delta Pi, where she has made friends that she hopes will be her future coworkers one day!

“I have been a Clemson fan my entire life, so when it came to choosing a college, it wasn't much of a question. I always looked up to my grandpa, cousins, aunts and older sister who were a part of the Clemson tradition before me. Growing up going to football games in Death Valley and spending that precious time with my family gave me a window into just how special of an experience it was to be a part of the Clemson family. This continued into my junior and senior year of high school when I had the opportunity to watch my older sister become a member of the Rally Cat dance team, move into her freshman dorm and start her own journey. As a result of this, by spring of my senior year of high school, I was so determined to make a Clemson story of my own. It has been the best decision I have ever made!

 I was first introduced to ADPi when my sister became a member of the Zeta Nu three years before I did. I was able to see the impact it made on her life, the friends that she made and the pride that she held in our sisterhood. When it came time for me to go through recruitment, I did my best to keep an open mind, but it was difficult when ADPi immediately felt like a home. When bid day came around, I remember being so nervous to open my envelope because I wanted to be a part of a chapter that was so welcoming and genuine as the women in Zeta Nu. I opened my bid and felt the excitement for what was to come; however, the real magic didn’t happen until our alpha class sleepover a few weeks later. On Friday night, we were given the opportunity to introduce ourselves to each other and to get to know our new sisters on a new level. Ever since then, the friends that I have made out of my sisters in Zeta Nu have turned into my neighbors, my best friends and hopefully my future coworkers!

I love days on the lake with my family and friends. Especially over the last two summers, after my parents moved to Lexington, SC on Lake Murray, our most popular weekend spot is on the water! There is nothing that I enjoy more than floating on the boat, listening to music and soaking in the sun with the people that I love the most.

 Over Christmas break, me and my family traveled to Washington, D.C. to visit my sister and attend a Christmas cocktail at the White House! My parents and younger sister squeezed into my older sister’s one bedroom apartment for a few days to sightsee, try new foods and get a feel of the city life. While we were there, we went in the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, several different museums and of course the most famous house in America. The last night that we were there, we got to dress up, meet my sister in the East Wing of the White House and even saw a glimpse of the President and First Lady. Afterwards, my sister gave us a tour of the West Wing where she works everyday. It was one of the best trips my family has ever taken and was full of so much fun history!

“Having grown up in Clemson, I always thought that I would choose to go to a different school that was farther away from home. However, when it came time for me to tour different schools, my parents made me tour Clemson’s campus “just incase I was overlooking it.” My parents ended up being exactly right. The tour made me fall in love with the school and it’s charming small-town feel all over again. I realized that Clemson was truly my home and that I couldn’t see myself going anywhere else!

Joining ADPi has greatly impacted my time here at Clemson. Not only has ADPi given me my best friends and the most unforgettable memories, but it’s also given me a support system of 280+ girls that I can always count on to lift me up, hold me accountable, and make me feel loved and accepted.

My dad has always been one of my biggest role models. He was recently recognized as the winningest men’s basketball coach in Clemson’s history, however, I believe that his most admirable quality is his ability to never give up on reaching his goals. Throughout his coaching career, he has consistently exemplified what it means to work towards reaching your goals, no matter how difficult it may be. He is one of the most hard-working people that I know and is a direct reflection of everything that Clemson stands for. Being able to watch my dad represent Clemson so well has made me extremely proud to be able to say that I went to Clemson.

I was recently accepted into Clemson’s Teacher Residency Program in the College of Education, where I will be continuing my education to receive a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning in Elementary Education! I am so blessed to have been given the opportunity to expand my skills and knowledge of teaching and cannot wait to have my own classroom in the future!

After I graduate, the one thing that I will miss most about my college experience at Clemson is the people. There’s a reason why people describe Clemson as having a “family atmosphere” and that’s 100% because of the people that make it up. She was actually an ADPi at the University of Tennessee when she was in college, too, which I think is pretty cool!”

    My best Clemson memory was definitely the day that my younger sister, Kate, chose to go ADPi. Having her run down to me on Bid Day was the best feeling ever, because I was so excited for her to be given the same amazing experience in college that ADPI had given me. This day was such a special memory that I will always hold close to my heart. I always joke with her about how she didn’t get to choose me as a sister the first time around, but she did this time!”

    “My dream job is to be a 2nd grade teacher! Ever since I was a little girl, I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher. I’ve always had a passion for children, and I can’t imagine spending my life doing anything else!”

    My happy place would definitely be the beach! There’s just something so calming and relaxing about being at the beach that makes me feel like all of my stress and worries have disappeared.

“I’ve been cheering on the Tigers for as long as I can remember. Since I was a little girl, I’ve tailgated with my family at every home football game and shared endless memories with them in Death Valley. Clemson has always felt like home to me. There is something so special about this little town and all of the people in it. I only applied to Clemson and USC, but I always knew I would choose Clemson. My love for this town and university has grown so much throughout my first semester. From watching countless sunsets at the rowing docks to pulling all nighters in Cooper Library, I’ve already made some of the best memories of my life. However, these memories would not be complete without the wonderful friends I have met. 

Since I joined Alpha Delta Pi, I have met some of the most amazing girls in the world. In high school, I prayed for the friendships that I have today. In this sorority, I have found girls who genuinely support me and lift me up. I met friends to laugh with, cry with, study with, and just do life with. My roommate and high school best friend, Berkley, also joined ADPi. This has made us so much closer, and we have so much fun together. There are many older girls in ADPi that I look up to so much. I have the best Big in the world and have so many mentors and big sisters that have been there for me. These girls made my transition into Clemson so much easier. 

Over winter break, my mom and I planned a girls’ trip and flew to New York City for several nights. One of my best friends, Olivia, who is one of my ADPi sisters, took a four hour train ride from Maryland to join us! We walked around Times Square in the snow, did a lot of shopping and probably enjoyed the food and restaurants a little too much! We also went to the Color Factory, saw the Radio City Rockettes, and took in Mean Girls on Broadway. We had such an amazing time and even met up with Emma, another sister, and spent some time exploring with her. I am so thankful that ADPi brought us together because I don’t know what I would do without them. I am so blessed to have such a great group of friends and sisters! 

I am currently majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Psychology. I plan on attending medical school and as of now, my goal is to become a Psychiatrist. I am also interested in several other fields of medicine but Psychiatry has always been an interest of mine. I am fascinated by the way the brain works and feel that there are so many people out there who can benefit from some type of medical intervention or treatment. My goal is to make an impact on this particular population and to do my part in trying to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness. I plan to continue focusing on my academic goals over the next few years, and I hope to keep meeting new friends every step of the way!” ~ Autumn Floyd, AC ‘19

“Clemson has always been my dream school, but going to school here was not the easiest decision for me to make. I have always wanted to be a nurse, and I knew this was going to be challenging because of Clemson’s very competitive program. After getting bridged, this seemed to be an even more impossible goal for me to reach. However, after much debate, I decided to go after what I really wanted. My bridge year was awesome, but I never felt that I was fully involved in Clemson the way I wanted to be. Joining a sorority was something that I saw myself loving. So, sophomore year was one of the best years because I finally had gotten to where I had wanted to be for so long. I applied to the Nursing program in the spring and after much praying and stressing I got that amazing email saying that I had been accepted. It was one of the best feelings in the world to reach that goal I had. 

Other than ADPI I am a member of CUSG transfer Council and serve as the bridge outreach committee head. I love being able to connect with students that are going through the same process I went through. I also help recruit people for a program here at Clemson that facilitates international service and learning where students get to go on medical mission trips to impoverished areas. I also recently got a position as an Anatomy and Physiology PAL leader so I am super excited for this semester.

Joining Alpha Delta Pi has brought me so much joy. I have met girls that have become the kind of friends that I have always wanted. ADPi is so unique and diverse in the type of girls that we are. However, we all have these underlying qualities that make us sisters in the most beautiful way. I have so many different types of friends in this sorority. One of my favorite things about ADPi is that when I get to know someone that I haven't previously been friends with, I can always find something that we have in common. It feels like you can’t meet a stranger.

Over Christmas break, I got the most amazing opportunity to travel to Cuba on a mission trip with some girls in ADPi that I knew but had previously never really gotten to know on a personal level or spent time with. It was incredible to learn so much about them in such a short period of time. I am very thankful for that opportunity and all the opportunities that ADPi has given me to meet incredible and inspiring girls. I‘ve always wanted to be in a sorority, but no one in my family had ever been involved in Greek Life before, so I really had no idea what to expect. When I started my college search, Clemson was always where my heart pointed me. I don’t know what it was that made this place so special, but I always saw myself here. To keep things short, it wasn’t until I didn’t get accepted into Clemson that I had to truly think about myself starting college somewhere else. That ‘somewhere else’ for me turned into Appalachian State. During my first semester of freshman year there, I went through Recruitment and joined ADPi, which was great, but to be completely transparent, it was still not what I had imagined for the beginning of my college experience. I was in a place I didn’t want to be and still felt called to Clemson, which is why I decided to transfer after the fall semester. Here I am writing this today, and can say with confidence, that transferring has turned out to be the best decision I could have made. 

My switch into ADPi here was initially very scary because I knew next to nothing about the girls in the chapter and I was nervous to start from ground zero with a completely new group of people. I am not going to say that my first semester at Clemson wasn’t hard, because it was, in more ways than one, but I slowly began to adapt. The spring was tough because I didn’t know many people and often felt on the outside, which is natural for anyone who is jumping in late to something. Due to this, I have to say that it was not until living on the hall this year that my time at Clemson genuinely felt right and so sweet. I have never experienced such an overwhelming feeling of gratitude that I feel for this place, this year, and all of the girls that I am surrounded by within ADPi. There is most definitely something special about the girls in this chapter. They are people who will get to know your heart, love you well, and encourage you every single day. If I could pick one thing that has meant the most to me during my time at Clemson so far, I would 100% say it is the best friends that I’ve made in ADPi. They are the biggest blessings of college yet! They are the people I get to experience life with - the good, the bad, and the ugly - and for that I am forever grateful! I don’t have the proper words to do these girls justice. They are much more than people who I simply spend time with; we cry together, eat together, go on allll the coffee runs together, and have the silliest time doing it all. It’s not often in life that you find people who constantly build you up, point you towards Christ, laugh with you until you cry, and genuinely want to listen to your needs and struggles. These silly moments on the hall are moments that I will always cherish, and I am so thankful that ADPi brought me them. ADPi Zeta Nu has changed my college experience for the better, and I know that I would not be able to say any of the same things had I not transferred - for that I am grateful! 

It is a bit cliché to say that my sorority brought me my best friends, but I really can’t imagine doing college without them. The other day I was thinking about how a little over a year ago I was in high school wondering what my college friends would be like, and now I am here with them and could not be happier with how things turned out. I really do give credit to ADPi for these sweet friendships!!  

Something that my friends and I joke about is how I will be planning their weddings one day. I hope to become an event coordinator specializing in weddings and social events. It has always been a long-term dream of mine to be a wedding planner because I love all things involving people, details, and organization. The thought of planning one of my friend’s weddings makes me so excited because it would be such a sweet time with all of the people I love. I will be forever grateful for the incredible people Clemson and ADPi gave me - I am so excited for the many memories there are left to be made, as I know the rest of my time here will only be even sweeter.” — Anna Birchfield, AC ‘18

Basketball season is back! Just ask Lytton, a Student Worker for the program she loves most, Men’s Basketball, thanks to one special sister who helped bring her dreams come to life.

“Growing up, my family always loved basketball because I had relatives play in college which led to me loving the sport itself. When I was in high school, one of my friends took me to my first Clemson basketball game and I immediately fell in love with the program, the team, and the atmosphere. Coming into Clemson as a freshman, I ended up meeting one of my best friends, Abby Brownell, at ADPi Bid Day whose dad is actually the head coach of the Men’s Basketball team. She told her dad about how much I loved Clemson basketball and got me in contact with people in the office which eventually led to me getting a job as a Student Worker in the Men’s Basketball Office my sophomore year of college. Everyone that knows me knows that it has been an absolute dream come true to be able to work for the team that I love so much and I could not be more grateful for the opportunity.

In the office, I have worked directly with the Director of Basketball Operations, Director of Recruiting Operations, Administrative Assistant, and Assistant Coaching Staff. I do many different tasks such as keeping track of our recruiting system, sending weekly graphic mailings to recruits, and helping plan annual events. Every day in the office is different which is what makes my job so much fun. It has been unreal going from being just a fan to a part of this team.

My favorite memory while working for the Clemson Men’s Basketball team has been getting to travel with the team to the NCAA tournament a couple years ago. I got to fly with the team to San Diego, California where they played the first two rounds of March Madness. Getting to see everything that goes into traveling and preparing for a tournament was an amazing experience that I will never forget.

My favorite part of every Clemson Men’s Basketball game is at the very end when the team stands together to sing the alma mater. Win or lose, the team always comes together which I think is a great representation of the Clemson Family. I think it demonstrates how our players and staff love their school which is super unique and special.

This job definitely relates to my future career aspirations. Although I am still trying to pinpoint exactly what I want to do, I know I want to work in sports and this job has solidified that desire. Helping plan our annual events such as Alumni Weekend, End of the Year Banquet, Senior Night, and Tiger Wonderland has furthered my interest in sports event planning. Something else that has always interested me is working with NBA Cares which connects NBA teams to the community and charities. I know I would be happy in many different sports careers and I can’t wait to see what I end up choosing come my graduation in May! 

Being a senior is extremely bittersweet. It feels like just yesterday I was moving into Manning Hall and I cannot believe my time at Clemson is coming to an end. This is a year of many “lasts,” but I am excited to open a new chapter when I graduate. When I graduate, I am hoping to find a job in a fun, new city. I am not sure exactly what my future holds, but am excited to get into the “real world” soon! 

 ADPi has had a tremendous impact on my Clemson career. I have had so many amazing opportunities to make connections, meet new people, and get involved in the community. I grew up helping the Ronald McDonald House in Greenville, so when I discovered that this was ADPi’s philanthropy I was automatically intrigued. It has been so rewarding and fun getting to help RMHC further through ADPi. Most importantly, ADPi has given me is the best group of friends I could ask for. I have found my people who have been by my side since freshman year and will be by my side forever. “Clemson has held such a special place in my heart for as long as I can remember. I can still picture my two sisters and me dressing up as Clemson cheerleaders for Halloween when we were little. Growing up in Greenville, Clemson has always felt like home. My dad graduated from here, so my family grew up attending many Clemson games. When the time came to apply for college, I really didn’t want to apply anywhere else. I knew Clemson was where I wanted to be, and I am so happy and blessed to call this place home!

I have had many favorite moments here but two that have stuck out to me have been getting to experience winning the 2016 National Championship in Tampa with my family and the 2018 National Championship here at Clemson with all of my friends. Also running down to my older sister on Bid Day and my little sister running down to me. These are the ones that I will never forget and will cherish forever!! Thinking of these moments makes me smile, and I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity to experience memories like these.

ADPi has impacted my time at Clemson more than I could have imagined. ADPi has blessed me with the best of friends and memories that I will cherish forever. I have grown so much as a person because of all of my friends and sisters – they encourage me, lift me up, and are always there when I need them. I will forever be thankful for all of the friendships I have made here at Clemson and in ADPi, and I know that these relationships will continue to grow even after I graduate!  

Working at Greenville’s News Station WYFF this semester has been so much fun! I never really thought I would be interested in the media industry, but it has been such an enjoyable learning experience. Everyone at WYFF is so nice and wants to help me learn, and I love everyone I work with! I have gotten to experience all of the different departments at the station – the sales department, creative services/marketing department, and the news department. I have learned so many different and cool things like selling commercials and billboards, seeing the behind-the-scenes work of putting together an ad, brainstorming with creative services to come up with different marketing plans, and going out with breaking news to see live news happen. I’ve been able to oversee and shadow so many great people!

It is so bittersweet being a senior. Thinking about how I only have one semester left at the best University makes me so thankful but also sad. I am trying not to think of all the “lasts” and just enjoy each day and live in the moment. This has been the best four years. I am excited to see what the future holds, but I will miss Clemson so much. Simple things like walking to class, staying up late with my roommates, and trying to study with my friends but it really just turns into a big laughing session (J) are things I am going to miss the most.

After I graduate, I plan to pursue a career in marketing or sales. I am not sure exactly where I will be, but I know God has a plan for me and I’m excited to see what it is.

“I chose Clemson last minute... almost went to Bama (yikes). I just felt like this is where the Lord was calling me and I also fell in love when I toured in high school. A huge defining moment for me at Clemson was when I joined student media, it really allowed my passion for journalism to come into fruition. I started as a sports reporter with TigerVision then was the Assistant Sports Director my sophomore year, but have moved on to doing internships with local news stations.   I currently intern with 105.5 The Roar and WSPA Channel 7. I'm on a gameday radio show for 105.5 then am doing sideline for Clemson Basketball with WSPA. The Tiger Tailgate Show with 105.5 is the most fun I've had all year. It's a 2-hour pregame show every Clemson football game, home and away. I have two segments, about 5 minutes each. CJ Spiller is the host and I'm a contributor. He's become a great friend and an awesome connection.

ADPi has been a great source of joy for me. There have been countless times where I've stepped into an ADPi event and have forgotten about the stresses I face in college. Being a senior is also SO fun. I don't fear the future at all... I feel like I've prepared myself well. Advice for younger girls is to do just that... prep yourself in the years at Clemson so you're not freaked out when May rolls around. Create healthy habits. Eat well, workout, study hard, sleep, MAKE CONNECTIONS!!! Connections are everything.” — Sophia Radebaugh, AC ‘16

Sadly it’s time for me to sign off as Historian! “My story is full of people who have loved me well, even when I did not deserve it. I am grateful to be able to put into words just a small piece of that story that continues to grow and be challenged every single day here at Clemson. 

I have always been a storyteller. My friends will tell you, I love to talk and share stories, whether mine or someone else’s. Growing up, I have found many ways to tell stories, but photography has to be my favorite. I have always been creative-minded and there are many ways to express creativity through pictures. My favorite thing about photography is the chance to simply capture the life and beauty happening around me. There is a time and place for planned photoshoots to bring ideas to life, but my absolute favorite thing in the world is just having my camera in hand throughout my day. My camera has quite literally just become an extension of my right hand, settings always on ‘high-speed continuous,’ ready to capture the world surrounding me. I cannot create beauty, but I can find beauty in the simplest of things. Sometimes that beauty is found in the peacefulness of sitting out on Bowman, and other times it is found in the midst of gameday hype. It doesn’t really matter what setting I am in, people are unique and beautiful and although my photos cannot do them justice, I sure do love to try. Something that has been helpful for me throughout my journey with photography has been my mindset behind it all. I do not think of myself as a photographer, instead, I am just a girl who loves taking pictures. It may seem silly, but if I focus on being a ‘photographer’ then I spend too much time comparing my work to others’. However, if I think of myself as just Laurel, who happens to love taking pictures, then I am free to just enjoy capturing the beauty I see around me. 

Clemson has always been my “family” school, so there was no question in my mind that it was my #1 choice. I chose Clemson knowing that it would be an incredible school, but I had no idea that this place would become my home. 

Oddly enough, I never actually toured Clemson until two weeks before I moved into Manning Hall my freshman year. I was already ready to come to Clemson, but was not prepared to fall in love. My big brother let me tag along with him one day on one of his last summer tours. I went on the tour, and watched him show his love for his school to complete strangers, welcoming them to the place he called home. It was that day that I really became excited about calling this place my home too, and it was also that day that I knew I had to be a tour guide. I wanted to be the person to welcome people to their new home, to make them feel loved and cared for in just a two hour walk across campus. Little did I know then that my CUGA family would hold my closest friends and the greatest learning experiences for me during my time here. I cannot express enough how much each and every member of that organization means to me. 

I never knew much about Greek Life growing up, and did not feel the need to join a specific Greek Life organization coming into college. It wasn’t until my sophomore year that I decided to join ADPi because I simply wanted the opportunity to spend more time with some of the incredible friends I had already made. I ran home to some of my very favorite people on bid day! There was no question in my mind that ADPi was just another exciting piece in making Clemson my forever home!

I have no shortage of Clemson Moments, mostly including my older brother Micah, my CUGA Fam, and Freshman Council ’21. My freshman year I remember walking up to a junior who I recognized from social media and introducing myself. I was expecting her to be friendly and find a way to easily end the conversation. Instead, she pulled out her calendar and planned coffee with me right in that moment. I was shocked that a junior, who seemed to have her life put together, cared at all to spend time with me. I soon realized that was a theme among the upperclassmen at Clemson and was shocked at how loved I felt here. It has made me want to be that kind of person for other people at this school, to take time out of my day to care for my Clemson Family. Also, combining my love for Clemson and photography by shooting on the football field is honestly one of my favorite things I have ever gotten to do!” - Laurel Williams, AC ‘18

“I have so many memories with my siblings coming to see the homecoming floats when we were little kids! I love now being student and helping build the floats that I used to marvel at as a little girl.”

Senior Lauren shares the many ways she’s served our chapter and the Panhellenic Community as a whole, which has only further fostered her love for Zeta Nu.

“This past year I served on the Panhellenic Executive Council as the Vice President of Public Relations. While on the Council I had the opportunity to work with girls in all 12 different chapters on campus to further and promote our Panhellenic community. Serving in this position gave me the ability to grow outside of Alpha Delta Pi by impacting other chapters and promoting Panhellenic love across the campus. I also had the opportunity to see Recruitment from a different side and got to see all the Potential New Members find their forever homes as Panhellenic women. Although I enjoyed my experience, I am very thankful that I can call ADPi my forever home. 

Throughout my time in ADPi I had the opportunity to serve as the Corresponding Secretary, as well as the Ronald McDonald House Chair. I loved both positions and feel like I really had the opportunity to make an impact. Serving as the Ronald McDonald House chair was very impactful because I got to work with the RMH staff in Greenville in the naming of the Clemson ADPi room and it was amazing to be able to see that project through to the finish. 

As I look toward graduation and the future, I am excited but nervous to see what is in store for me. This past summer I worked in Washington, D.C. for Gartner, Inc. where I spoke with clients from all over the world about technology and how it is impacting their businesses. I grew so much over the summer both professionally and personally and discovered more about what I want to do after I graduate.

As I finish my senior year I think back to all the amazing memories both Clemson and ADPi have given me. Clemson University and Alpha Delta Pi have impacted me more than I could have ever imagined. I am halfway through my senior year and I wish everyday that time would slow down and I could go back to my freshman year and relive college all over again. I will be eternally thankful for the forever friendships and memories I have created.” - Lauren Mossburg, AC ‘16

  • Favorite quote?

“My favorite quote of all time is by Maya Angelo, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” I heard this quote for the first time from my mom and she told me that it is my job to always make people feel welcome and important. I don't think I have ever been given better advice. I have had a banner of it hung in my room since freshman year and I will hang it in my next home after graduation.” 

  • Where is your happy place?

“My favorite spot on campus is the Lake Hartwell Dykes. I enjoy being outside so walking the Dykes on a nice afternoon is one of my favorite things to do. My sisters and I will try to meet up to walk whenever we are free to get outside and enjoy the beautiful Clemson weather. I also love to be out on Lake Hartwell with the Watersports club anytime that I have the chance!”

  • Celebrity you’d want as your BFF?

“I would love to be friends with Taylor Swift. I feel like Taylor and I are the same person so we would get along so well. I also love her cats so I would really like to hang out with Taylor and meet her cats.”
